Our Story
Hello, I'm Orvéi.
And this is the story of why Orve exists.
It starts, like most things in my life, with Danny.
My son. My reason. The little boy who once looked up at me while I was rushing out the door for work — still in yesterday's ponytail, badge lanyard around my neck, half a coffee in my hand and said, "Mommy, you look pretty."
I wasn't pretty. I was exhausted.
I was a divorced mom working a 9-to-5, raising a son on my own, and quietly trying to build something of my own in the hours after bedtime. There were nights I sat at the kitchen table long after Danny had fallen asleep, laptop open, mind racing wondering if any of it was worth it.
But that morning, those three words stopped me cold.
Mommy, you look pretty.
He didn't see the tired eyes or the wrinkled blouse. He just saw me. His mom. And in that moment, something shifted.
I thought about how long I had stopped seeing myself that way.
I used to love jewelry. Small things, a delicate ring, a necklace that caught the light. They made me feel like me, even on the hardest days. But life got expensive. Divorce gets expensive. And the pieces I could afford would tarnish within weeks, turn my skin green, fall apart in the rain. I'd stopped buying them. I'd stopped bothering.
That morning, standing at the door with Danny grinning up at me, I made a quiet decision.
I was going to find a way for women like me, women who were holding everything together to feel beautiful every single day. Not just on special occasions. Not just when the budget allowed. Every day. Without worrying about a necklace ruining in the shower, or a ring losing its shine by the weekend.
I named the brand Orvé a name that felt like something worth building. Something that could last.
Every piece we carry is waterproof, tarnish-free, and built to keep up with your life because your life doesn't pause, and your jewelry shouldn't either. Whether you're running to a meeting, picking up your kids, or finally taking five minutes for yourself, you deserve to wear something beautiful that holds up through all of it.
Orve isn't just a jewelry brand.
It's what I built on the other side of a hard chapter. It's for every woman who's been so busy taking care of everyone else that she forgot to take care of herself. It's a reminder from one mom to another that you are still her. The woman who deserves beautiful things.
Danny is older now. He still tells me I look pretty.
And this time, I believe him.
With love, Orvéi ❤️
